Instantial Knowing That
'Instantial knowing that' is mental structures for classification of objects of the same kind.
The following conditions must be met in order for a teacher (T) to determine that a student (S) can instantiate Q, the object of knowing:
S instantiates Q if and only if
- S believes that Q.
- S identifies Q as an instance of a kind.
- S correctly believes Q.
- Q is a state of affairs.
- T knows that the above conditions hold in order that S identify Q.
